Maṣe gbàgbé ("the app") is published by Nicky & Andre Technology Services ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with your information.

The short version

Your location never leaves your phone. Your reminders never leave your phone. If you choose to give us your name and email, we use them only to contact you about the app. Providing them is optional — the app works fully without them.

Location

The app asks for location access, including background ("Always") access, for one purpose: to notice when you leave the place you have set as home, so that it can show your reminders at that moment.

• Your home location is stored only on your device.
• The boundary around your home is monitored by iOS itself. The app is simply woken by the operating system when you cross it.
• We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share your location. No location data reaches our servers, because the app has no servers that receive it.
• We do not track your movements, build a location history, or use your location for advertising or analytics.

If you deny or revoke location access, the departure reminders will not work, but the rest of the app continues to function.

Name and email

During setup the app offers to collect your name and email address. This is optional and can be skipped.

• Your name is used to personalise greetings inside the app.
• Your email, if provided, is used to contact you about Maṣe gbàgbé — for example about updates or important changes to the service.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

To have your details removed from our records, or to ask what we hold, email us at the address below and we will action it.

Reminders and app data

Your reminders, schedules, home location, and settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. Deleting the app removes them.

Notifications

The app sends you local notifications on your device when you leave home. If you have an Apple Watch paired, iOS may mirror these notifications to it. Notification content is generated on your device from your own reminders.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and publish the revised version at this address.
